Dark money is likely the reason why illegal activities are being allowed at Rockland Place dba Spring Gate Apartments. Could also be why the enforcement of occupancy agreements are mostly one-sided, in favor of subsidized corporate landlords. Is this why some tenants have no access to requested trials at the housing courts? Low-income residents don't even have any available public transportation to get to the housing court in Plymouth, MA, which is another automatic win for the corporate landlord during any eviction proceeding.
Dark money is likely why unrepresented tenants are coerced into mediation to sign documents that end in unjustified homelessness. When dark money is involved in our political system, there is no justice for ALL. This is how corporate landlords get away with retaliation and harrassment toward tenants who speak out about violations in lease agreements. . . . Dark money buys the rights of vulnerable American citizens' and hands our rights over to unethical corporations to stomp all over. It's corrupt + unAmerican!
